About Our Speaker, Amy Dillon, M.eD:

Amy is an educator, strategic thinker, and health advocate with over 20 years of experience in health promotion, facilitation, grant writing and management, partnership development, communications and outreach, data collection and evaluation, local policy development, and professional learning development.

She is the co-founder and owner of Advancing Dynamic Solutions, a small, mission-driven consulting business. Launched 2018, Advancing Dynamic Solutions works across sectors to improve outcomes for communities. Previously, Amy held various roles within state and local governments and non-profit organizations, including the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. She was instrumental in the expansion of the Healthy Kids Colorado Survey (HKCS) across numerous state agencies to provide both state and local data related to youth risk and protective factors.

Amy brings a passionate approach toward improving health, particularly within the context of changing systems and creating equitable environments. She previously worked for Jeffco Public Schools with a focus on creating healthier schools through policy and systems changes, as well as addressing factors that support behavioral health, substance use prevention, healthy eating and physical activity.  

Amy has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Community Health from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and Master of Education degree from Colorado State University. She served on the board of the Colorado Public Health Association for six years, including the roles of President and Director of Professional Education.

With travel, nature, and board games as her personal passions, Amy is excited to partner with organizations to create environments that promote physical and mental health for young people and communities.
