Meet time at Boulder REI at 8:45am and carpool up Boulder Canyon OR meet 10:00 a.m. at trailhead for snowshoeing. 

South Sourdough Trail starts at the the Rainbow Lakes entrance just off Highway 72 (Peak to Peak), north of Nederland, about 1.5 hour drive from Denver, 40 min from Boulder.

There is a sign for the Rainbow Lakes and Mountain Research Station at the turn off 

We will do the trail South to North/return, 2-3 hrs depending on weather, and if there is interest we can do a trail running option.

All abilities are welcome! This trail is sunny and largely protected from the wind so even on a nasty winter day it will be OK.
